April 18, 2025 – Emro Inc. (KOSDAQ: 058970), Korea’s leading AI-based supply chain management software company, posted record Q1 revenue despite rising domestic and global economic uncertainties.
The company announced in its preliminary earnings report that consolidated Q1 2025 revenue reached KRW 20.63 billion, a 41% increase from the same period last year, surpassing KRW 20 billion for the first time in its history. This growth was driven by increased corporate demand for direct procurement solutions, essential for cost competitiveness and securing top-tier suppliers, amid accelerated global supply chain reshuffling following U.S. President Trump’s high-tariff policies. Q1 operating profit and net income reached KRW 960 million and KRW 1.04 billion, respectively.
Emro’s SW license revenue rose 49.6% YoY to KRW 1.94 billion in Q1, supported by ongoing demand for procurement system adoption and overseas subsidiary expansions. Additionally, technical support fees, benefiting from Emro’s strong lock-in effect based on its specialized procurement expertise, totaled KRW 3.52 billion, up 27.9% YoY.
Looking ahead, Emro aims to accelerate global competitiveness in 2025. Following its first U.S. client acquisition last year, the company is actively proposing its SRM SaaS solution ‘Caidentia’ to leading IT, automotive, and manufacturing firms in North America with Samsung SDS. Positive feedback from local procurement professionals during demos and solution validations is expected to result in additional contracts within the year.
In May, Emro will participate in the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo, the world’s largest supply chain management event held in the U.S. and Europe, showcasing ‘Caidentia’ and generating new sales leads in the global market.
An Emro spokesperson said, “The global supply chain disruption triggered by U.S. tariff policies is expected to serve as a growth opportunity for the direct procurement solution market. Furthermore, our enterprise software business is largely insulated from tariff impacts, enabling us to leverage current market conditions to accelerate our global growth this year.”
