January 7, 2025 – Emro Inc. (KOSDAQ: 058970), Korea’s leading AI-based SRM software company, announced today the launch of its new beta service, ‘Global Briefing’, on its procurement-focused online community platform BUYBLE. The service provides procurement professionals with comprehensive global data, including currency rates, commodity prices, industry trends, and disaster information.
Through Global Briefing, users can monitor exchange rates, prices of more than 100 key commodities, and production, domestic sales, and import-export trends across 13 major industries—all in a single interface. The service also delivers real-time updates on global disasters such as earthquakes, wildfires, and droughts, enabling users to proactively manage risks across the global supply chain.
For major commodities such as aluminum, nickel, and copper, prices are based on the London Metal Exchange (LME) benchmarks. Users can also receive alerts via KakaoTalk whenever currency rates or commodity prices rise or fall according to their set conditions.
In addition, Global Briefing provides curated supply chain news and AI-generated market analyses and forecasts to help procurement professionals make informed decisions in dynamic market conditions. The service is currently available free of charge to BUYBLE members during the beta period.
Launched in November 2022, BUYBLE is a procurement-focused community platform offering access to over 3 million domestic vendors, educational content for procurement professionals, and expert columns. Since its launch, the platform has grown to over 3,000 members, establishing itself as Korea’s leading procurement community.
“By enhancing various functions within BUYBLE, we aim to strengthen the competitiveness of our members’ procurement operations through the new Global Briefing service,” said an Emro spokesperson. “In increasingly complex and unpredictable market environments, we hope that procurement professionals can gain new insights and make better decisions through BUYBLE.”
