EMRO Wins Spigen Korea Procurement Management System Implementation Project
- Implements procurement management system for Spigen Korea based on SMARTsuite v10.0, supporting digital procurement transformation
- Provides a wide range of functions to enhance procurement efficiency, including supplier sourcing and development, systematic component cost management, and supplier quotation analysis, maximizing cost reduction opportunities and overall supply chain competitiveness
September 23, 2024 – Emro Inc. (KOSDAQ: 058970), Korea’s leading AI-based SRM software company, announced today that it has secured a project to implement a procurement management system for Spigen Korea, a leading IT and mobile device company.
The project, based on Emro’s latest SRM software SMARTsuite v10.0, aims to establish a comprehensive system that efficiently manages procurement operations, including supplier pool creation, component cost management, supplier quotation analysis, and electronic contract creation and management.
In the highly dynamic and trend-sensitive global mobile accessory market, maintaining competitiveness requires close collaboration through systematic supplier management and strategic component cost control from the early stages of product development. To achieve this, the new procurement system will allow suppliers to directly register their information, enabling a broad pool of potential suppliers. Objective assessments using credit rating data and self-assessment tools will help identify capable suppliers and manage them as official partners. By digitizing the previously document-based supplier management process into a single system, Spigen Korea can continuously nurture top-performing suppliers and strengthen the overall capabilities of its supply chain.
The system will also include advanced cost and quotation management features. Spigen Korea will be able to simulate component costs based on materials and manufacturing methods, accurately determine optimal costs, and review detailed cost items (raw materials, main components, subcomponents) to improve negotiation power and maximize cost reduction opportunities.
Additionally, electronic contract creation and status tracking functions will be integrated within the system and linked with Spigen Korea’s existing groupware and legal portal, supporting more transparent and efficient supplier contract management.
Emro plans to complete the implementation and stabilization of Spigen Korea’s procurement management system by March 2025.
“We are delighted that this project with Spigen Korea recognizes Emro’s accumulated expertise and know-how in procurement and supply chain management,” said an Emro official. “By enabling digital transformation of procurement operations through SMARTsuite v10.0, we aim to help Spigen Korea strengthen its competitiveness in the global mobile accessory market.”
